FAQ

Questions men actually ask, answered plainly.

If yours is not here, email hello@getwidr.com or ask Dr. Kamat directly at a video consultation.

Cost

Money

How much does it cost?

Essential $3,500 (up to 4 syringes), Signature $5,900 (5–8 syringes), Complete $7,900 (9–12 syringes). Maintenance after a completed plan is $650 per syringe, four-syringe minimum, within 24 months. Full terms on the pricing page.

Is the consultation free?

No. It is a $100 Medical Video Consultation: a 20–30 minute private video call with Dr. Kamat. The fee is credited in full toward any treatment booked within 90 days, so it costs nothing extra if you proceed. If Dr. Kamat determines you are not a candidate, the fee is earned for her assessment and is not refunded. There is no one on staff whose job is to follow up and sell you anything.

What if I start small and want more later?

Within six months of your first treatment, 100% of what you paid is credited toward a higher package. You pay only the difference.

Is there a deposit?

After candidacy is confirmed, a $1,000 refundable reservation payment holds your in-person appointment and is applied to treatment. Refunds exclude card-processing fees.

Do you offer financing?

Not in-house at this time. Packages are paid directly to WIDR.

Results

Expectations

How much girth can I expect?

Typically about ¼–⅓ inch in circumference per session. Men wanting a larger total — commonly 0.4–1.6 inches — plan for two to three sessions. Tissue response varies; no result is guaranteed.

How many sessions will I need?

One for a modest change; two to three for a larger one. Dr. Kamat states the likely number in your written roadmap before you commit. Read our detailed guide to session counts.

How long does it last?

Typically 12–24 months before gradual fade. Maintenance keeps the result; it is individualized rather than set by a calendar.

Does it add length?

No. Filler adds circumference. It does not add length and does not treat erectile dysfunction.

Will it look and feel natural?

Even distribution is the goal, and ultrasound-guided cannula placement is how WIDR pursues it. HA filler is soft and moves with tissue. Some firmness and mild unevenness in the first weeks is common and typically settles; because it is HA, anything that does not settle can be adjusted or dissolved.

Is it reversible?

Yes. HA filler can be dissolved with hyaluronidase. This is the main reason WIDR does not offer PMMA, silicone, or fat transfer.

Safety

Risk and technique

Is penile filler safe?

No procedure is risk-free. The serious risks with penile filler are vascular injury and poor placement. WIDR addresses both directly: a physician places a dissolvable product with a blunt cannula under live ultrasound. Common, minor effects are swelling, bruising, and temporary unevenness. Rare risks include infection, nodules, and vascular compromise. All are discussed at consultation. More in our safety article.

Why does ultrasound matter?

It lets Dr. Kamat see the tissue plane and vessels rather than estimate them, and confirm the filler is spreading evenly as it is placed. Most injectors work by feel alone.

Why a cannula instead of a needle?

A blunt cannula tends to push vessels aside rather than pierce them, uses a single entry point, and distributes product more evenly — typically less bruising and a lower risk of intravascular injection.

Is it FDA-approved?

HA fillers are FDA-approved for facial indications. Penile use is off-label, as it is at every practice offering it. Off-label use of approved products by a physician is legal and common in medicine.

Who is not a candidate?

Men with active infection, certain bleeding disorders or anticoagulant regimens, unrealistic expectations, or body-image concerns better addressed elsewhere. Dr. Kamat will say so at the consultation.

Recovery

Aftercare

Does it hurt?

Topical or local anesthetic is used. Most men describe pressure rather than pain during placement, and mild soreness for a few days after.

What is the downtime?

Desk work the same or next day. Swelling and possible bruising for several days. Pause strenuous exercise for a few days and sexual activity for about two weeks, or as Dr. Kamat instructs for your case.

Will anyone be able to tell?

There is a single small entry point and typically some swelling for several days. Clothing conceals everything. Nothing about the appointment, billing, or correspondence identifies the nature of the procedure beyond what you choose to share.

Peyronie's

Curvature

Can filler fix Peyronie's?

It can improve the appearance of mild-to-moderate, stable curvature by adding volume to the shorter side. It does not treat the plaque or stop progression, and improvement is typically partial. Details on the Peyronie's page.

When should I see a urologist instead?

Severe curvature, active or painful disease, hourglass deformity, or curvature causing erectile dysfunction. Dr. Kamat will tell you if that is the better path.

Logistics

Miami and travel

Where is WIDR?

Sunset Harbour, Miami Beach, Florida. The exact address is provided once treatment is reserved.

Do I have to come to Miami for the consultation?

No. The consultation is a video call. Only treatment day is in person.

How long should I plan to stay?

Most fly-in patients arrive the day before and depart within a day or two after a 60–90 minute appointment. Dr. Kamat confirms your timing at consultation.

How do I contact you?

Email hello@getwidr.com or use the contact form. Messages go to the owner personally. There is no phone line, by design.
